Resources & acknowledgements

For curators, researchers and visitors

This museum is designed as a living resource. The Tladi family archive is the primary source for family history, objects and works held by the estate; institutional and published records are acknowledged on the relevant pages.

Family archive

Artwork photographs, personal objects, the Lobethal record, press material and family testimony are held by the Tladi family. The Gallery Display catalogue of located works is the basis of the Complete Collection.

Public collections

Iziko South African National Gallery, Museum Africa and Wits Art Museum preserve important points in the public record.
